These pages of the Society’s website highlight the wide range of record societies and similar organisations (current and former) which offer published content relating to the history of the UK and Ireland:<\/p>\n
The Society also hosts an annual meeting of UK national history societies, and provides a listing of selected subject specialist history societies active today. We hope these resources are of use for those undertaking research.<\/p>\n
Details of publications may be found on the individual societies’ websites and also in the Bibliography of British and Irish History<\/a> (BBIH).<\/p>\n The Bibliography — published by the Institute of Historical Research and Brepols — is an online database of 680,000 records of publications relating to British and Irish history.<\/p>\n As a membership benefit, RHS Fellows and Members may subscribe to BBIH at much reduced rates, starting at \u00a325 per annum.
