Dr Tom Pickles, University of Chester, will deliver this year’s Jarrow Lecture.
Admission is free, and all are welcome. This annual event takes place in the church, whose chancel is the church that has stood on this site since the days of Bede. It is hosted by the parish church, which generously provides a free buffet supper after the event, so enabling members of the audience to meet the speaker and to interact with each other.
