RHS Social Media Policy
In order to provide clarity and consistency in the use of social media, the Royal Historical Society has developed the following policy. This policy is designed to support authorised staff, Officers, Council Members and other people actively involved with the Society to engage with our community, while providing additional guidance on best practice.
The policy is based on, and adapted from the JISC Social Media template and guidance (2014). The Royal Historical Society is happy for other historians with responsibility for subject specialist society social media to use our document as a template for their own policies, and a .docx version is provided here for that purpose.
